this movie was exactlyI thought it would be. terrible acting and terrible effects, but this is why it was a good movie to watch with friends. but I wouldn't recommend watching alone because you will be disappointed. the plot is the samethe other 2 movies if you cant already tell (Sharknado) but there are some interesting parts which don't really make sense but it doesn't really have to, its a Si-fi movie.<br/><br/>but for all those who hated this movie because of the acting and effect. what did you seriously thing it would be amazing its called Sharknado guys I mean come on.<br/><br/>But it was a terribly good movie and just funny to watch the over acting. Can't wait for number 4.
I didn't much like the first two "Sharknado" movies, but they look a lot better when compared to this third entry in the series. Throughout the movie, there is a real feeling that they have more or less run out of ideas. Oh sure, the climatic scene does take place in outer space (!), but even in that new environment the protagonists are more or less doing the same things they did in the first two movies. But there are other severe problems with this entry. While the second movie took a few steps forward when it came to production values, this entry takes a few steps back - everything from the cinematography to the special effects looks cut rate. You'd think with the popularity of the first two movies, they'd have a few bucks to make the movie look pretty good. Also, this entry contains some blatant product plugs, from the Subway sandwich chain to Universal's theme park in Florida. You have to wonder why those businesses thought being associated with this movie would be good for business. To sum up, this third entry is tired and desperate, and is unlikely to even entertain those who actually found the first two movies fun.

After diverting a sharknado over Washington, D.C., Medal of Freedom and Order of the Golden Chainsaw recipient Finley "Fin" Shepard (<a href="/name/nm0005575/">Ian Ziering</a>) heads for Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida to join his pregnant wife April (<a href="/name/nm0005346/">Tara Reid</a>), their teenage daughter Claudia (<a href="/name/nm1707018/">Ryan Newman</a>), and April's mother May Wexler (<a href="/name/nm0000137/">Bo Derek</a>). Along the way, he also runs into sharknado survivor turned warrior Nova Clarke (<a href="/name/nm2628561/">Cassandra Scerbo</a>). Meanwhile, more sharknadoes are developing, and the sharknado hunters fear that the individual storms may converge into a massive sharknado wall and destroy the entire eastern seaboard. Sharknado 3 is the third movie in the made-for-television disaster film series Sharknado, all of which have been based on screenplays by American screenwriter/director Thunder Levin. It is preceded by <a href="/title/tt2724064/">Sharknado (2013)</a> (2013) and <a href="/title/tt3062074/">Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014)</a> (2014), and followed by <a href="/title/tt4831420/">Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens (2016)</a> (2016), and <a href="/title/tt6298780/">Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (2017)</a> (2017). Nova clears a hole in the sharknado wall, allowing Fin, April, and Colonel Gil (<a href="/name/nm0001327/">David Hasselhoff</a>) to successfully launch the Independence space shuttle, but they run into another problem when the rocket doesn't break up the storm wall. Gil decides to try using the Strategic Defense System (SDI) satellite, but it requires that he leave the shuttle in order to manually reboot the SDI laser. Consequently, the sharknado wall collapses, but the sharks are propelled into space and begin attacking the Independence. Fin and April are separately eaten by large sharks just before the shuttle explodes into bits, sending all the sharks back to earth where they start to rain upon the beaches. Fin crawls out of one shark's belly while April uses a chainsaw to slice her way, along with her newborn son, out of the other shark. When asked what he's going to name his son, Fin looks up into space and announces that he's going to be name him "Gil", after his father. Meanwhile, Gil has landed on the moon. In the final scene, April bends over to pick up the wings given to them by the Colonel…justa large fragment of the space shuttle hurtles out of the sky, headed directly for April. A note then appears, inviting the viewing audience to register their votes at #AprilLives, #AprilDies, or Sharknado.Syfy.com,to whether April survives, the results of which to be revealed in Sharknado 4.
